Academic Planning
Our academic planning team is designed to meet each individual student where they are and to support every student as he or she strives to reach their full academic potential. From advisory period every morning to tailored plans, our faculty and staff know every individual student on a personal and academic level and are aware of the specific needs of each student. In the course of academic planning, we communicate on a regular basis with each student's family in order to incorporate the home life into the learning process.
Graduates from Capital Prep can expect to be prepared for college. This is because, on average, our students graduate with 6 to 9 college credits accumulated via our partnership with Capital Community College. Students will be prepared for these classes because our academic planning will lay a solid foundation and ensure that our students are ready to succeed in every next step they take. These college courses are held either on our campus or several blocks away at the College.
